The Salesforce Technology Manager is responsible for the design, architecture, development, and ongoing support of our enterprise Salesforce.com (SFDC) solution that supports our Sales organization.  We need someone who is driven, business-minded, and exceptionally strong technically.

Someone who collaborates in building out and scaling our Salesforce instance and other customer engagement tools for our high growth Sales, Customer Care, and Customer Success organizations. You’ll succeed by working cross functionally to ensure tools and processes are optimized to meet the current and future business requirements.

You will possess exceptional project management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a chaotic environment, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the SFDC instance within When I Work:  including design and architecture, administration, and management of integrations
  • Build the high-level Roadmap of our Salesforce implementation
  • Upgrade and maintain an efficient and seamless integration between our proprietary production environment and SFDC
  • Design, develop and configure customized solutions using the full Salesforce toolset including custom objects and fields, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, etc
  • Manage and run all stages of project implementations from business and technical requirements gathering to post deployment support
  • Devise scalable solutions for new and existing business requirements, in a constantly changing landscape.
  • Execute day-to-day operations of Salesforce.com:  Ensure system integrity and integration capabilities are operating smoothly
  • Help develop reports and dashboards to enable increased business intelligence
  • Ensure the integrity of all sales data
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors, integrations, packages, and various partners

What you need to be successful:

  • Salesforce.com administrator with at least 3-5 years related experience
  • Experience working across various SFDC implementations
  • Specific experience includes: Knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration including use of data loader and third party tools; Extensive experience with data migration into Salesforce.com for objects including but not limited to accounts, contacts, campaigns, leads and opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience with integration of SFDC with other systems
  • Hands on experience with Apex, Visualforce Pages, Visualforce Components & Controllers, Force.com Platform preferred
  • Experience in researching and documenting solutions to business needs and clearly explaining trade-offs and potential return on investment for different options.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related discipline or equivalent number of years’ work experience.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast paced, high energy environment
